Habitat
Snakes are found everywhere in the world except Iceland, Ireland, Antarctica, Greenland and New Zealand, that's because they're not tropical countries and snakes are mostly found in tropical places. They like tropical places because they are cold blood animals that depend on their environment for warmth, so they do not cope well in cold places like the ones mentioned above. Snakes can also be found in water, grass, dessert and prairies (a type of place in North America that is a big grassland) |
predator and prey
Predators are animals that eat snakes. preys are what snakes feed on.But this is also one hard thing to believe snakes have lot's of predators( enemies) like Mongooses, Foxes, Coyotes, Racoon's, Wild boars and large birds. And also snakes that are dangerous can eat other snakes. And it depends on the prey either the snake is big or small like the smallest snake is the Thread snake and the thread snake eat's smaller things like Papae, Eggs of ants and centipedes. The largest snakes are anacondas and pythons and they eat pigs and deers. most of the snakes live off (eat on) of rodents, insects, eggs, birds, frogs, fish lizards and small mammals. |
